Has Anyone of Us Wept Yet? (v2)
This week for the first time I am only publishing a podcast reading of the essay.
I decided to edit, update and to read my first essay from 3 years ago, written immediately after Putins misadventure into Ukraine, delivered below as a 6 minute podcast.
It is called Has Any One of Us Wept Yet? after a book written by an ex American Tex/Mex border guard called Francisco Cantu who wrote of witnessing while on duty things which were more Third Reich than Land of the Free and the Home of he Brave.
*Below is THIS WEEKS PHOTOGRAPH from my time in Ukraine.
•Then there is Part 10 of
TRANSFORMATION TO THE NEXT SYSTEM
A PROCESS DEPENDENT ON CREATING AND WINNING CULTURAL STRUGGLES by Robert Golden
This week it is about learning that THE LEFT’S SOLUTIONS MUST ALSO BE THEIR SUPPORTER’S SOLUTIONS
The earlier Parts are still available to read.
*And there is the second of my 6 podcasts
INTERVIEWS/CONVERSATIONS WITH ARTISTS,
this one devoted to the musical and painterly artistry of Ricky Romain whose wisdom and humanity shines out in the podcast.
THIS WEEK’S PHOTOGRAPH

TRANSFORMATION TO THE NEXT SYSTEM
A PROCESS DEPENDENT ON CREATING AND WINNING CULTURAL STRUGGLES
by Robert Golden
Last week I wrote how to unlink culture from class, and especially how the established order impoverishes people and then uses some of them as canon fodder.
PART 10 THE LEFT’S SOLUTIONS MUST ALSO BE THEIR SUPPORTER’S SOLUTIONS
The desire of the young of all groups and classes need be taken as real so that what those who want to transform society, believe always assumes the best of interests of young people regardless of class.
In this, new and innovative communications will appeal to their better angels,
and that alone may help many otherwise educated young people question their own assumptions about ‘others’ and help them to understand that in the transforming world,
they will have a role and many ways to increasingly up-lift their own lives through continuous education,
exposure to a higher (non-corporate) culture,
and satisfying work.
Is this naïve to think that people from different cultural backgrounds, who grow up assuming females are less worthy than males,
that there is only one way to one God,
that the LGBT community are an abomination
will willingly conform to left liberal social norms?
As mentioned earlier,
the left liberal cultural norms are probably an expression of class based prejudice, elitism and an innate sense of righteousness and snobbishness.
What is vital is contact, working together and deciding to support each other in the areas where they agree
while learning to at least tolerate each other’s differences,
knowing that the real binding is in class
and the real opposition that provokes separation and hostility are the Establishment,
the political classes,
the forces of law and order and much of the Media.
One cannot claim freedom to practice their beliefs
while disdaining or attacking others for their beliefs,
as long as the others are not wishing to destroy freedom itself.
In these ways, the problems of income inequality will be confronted.
Next week 11. FINDING A STRAIGHTFORWARD WAY TO COMMUNICATE
